Harmonicas Direct was established in the early 1990’s, and was the first on-line, UK harmonica specialist. The location was at Minstrels Music Shop, in Bradford city centre, which I owned up to 2002. The basement, and the adjoining tunnel where I parked my car, used to be a music club for a brief spell in the mid 1960’s. Among the acts that performed there were, The Moody Blues, Rod Steward and Georgie Fame, oh, and Kiki Dee worked in the cloak room. It has now been transformed into Sunbridge Wells, which is now an interconnected maze of bars, shops and eateries.
