Description
The Seydel Saxony Chromatic is a professional chromatic harmonica with unique features. The instrument benefits from the stainless steel reeds, a feature of the 1847 Blues harmonicas and the precise specification of the top of the range Renaissance chromatic harmonica. With a full, loud sound and fast tone response due to the stainless steel reeds: durable and stable in pitch even with heavy duty playing.
The Orchestra version available in key C only; hole one starts on the note G and the full scale C is from hole three, giving a further two and a half octaves.
Irish tuning (when pressing the slider the note sounds 1/2 note lower) available in keys C, A, D and G.
The Irish variant is produced on demand! Therefore delivery will take 2-3 weeks.
Reliable valving – new wind saver material
Less air-loss due to optimized reed plates made of German silver – optimized flatness and extremely small tolerances between reeds and reed plate slots
New mouthpiece with round openings
Improved slider design optimized for air-tightness and comfortable action
New matt-chromed cover plate surface, which is smoother and comfortable on the lips during playing.
Cover plates opened wide at the back and crimped to allow the overtone-rich sound to flow unhindered.
High precision manufactured aluminium comb optimized for better tone-response, with an anodised black speckled metallic coating.
Harmonicas marked as “available on back order” are not in stock and will be ordered especially for you from Seydel so could take several weeks to arrive.
